My name is Jake Strickland. I am 25 years old and I live in southeast Georgia. I got into the rental property business back in the fall of 2007. I have learned a lot since my first purchase 2 years ago and I now own 38 units and counting! I do not however, manage them myself anymore, but hired on a full time property manager. I work full time as a military recruiter and have served overseas in Iraq throughout 2005-06. I have 8 years of service for the military and I love what I do. However, I love being a landlord even more.
I am married to my wonderful wife, Heather, of 3 years and at the moment we do not have any children. She is 25 years old and works for a local nursing staff agency and is also a certified CPR instructor in our hometown. We are both Bible believing Christians and owe all of our success and praise to our lord Jesus Christ.
